Indian government has initiated programs like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Smart Cities Mission to address these issues, the urgent needs of slum dwellers require more localized and targeted support. NGOs play a crucial role in filling this gap by providing essential services like healthcare, education, vocational training, and sanitation, along with advocating for the rights of slum residents. Their presence is vital in ensuring sustainable development, empowering communities, and holding both the government and private sector accountable for improving living conditions and securing affordable housing.


Moreover these precious souls were highly attracted towards drug addiction, depressions, suicidal attempts, child marriages and on, which eventually led them to the fiery hell. COME (Christian Outreach for Mission & Evangelism), the Pioneering Missionary Movement (Since June-1988) operates all over india through drug rehabilitation programmes, Free Medical camps, Free Tuitions, Motivating kids to participate in sports like Cricket & Ice breaking activities, Family Counselling Programs & One to One counselling. It saves multitudes from the gates of hell and to lead them towards the Light (Jesus) of God. The God being the Author of COME, bringing smiles to the millions of poor kids, transforming the deprived people into responsible citizens. COME is not a church, it is an arm of the church. It is a Religious and Charitable Trust registered with the Government of India.
