VBS Testimonies

TESTIMONY-1 : A DARK COMMUNITY BECOMES BRIGHTIER! (TESTIMONY-1)

“I’m Raja, a 15-year-old from the Irular community in Bangarupet. After passing my 10th exams, my dream of further education seemed impossible. My family is poor, and my father’s recent leg amputation made our situation even more difficult. There’s no school in my village beyond 10th standard, and I couldn’t afford to live in a hostel elsewhere. I was devastated.

Then, COME Ministries missionaries visited me. They offered comfort, shared their faith, and prayed for me. During a VBS in May 2024, I met the Karnataka Zonal Secretary. I explained my plight, and he promised to help. He kept his promise! I’m now in 11th standard at a school in Hosur, staying in a hostel, thanks to his efforts. I even met other girls supported by COME Ministries. My prayers were answered. I’m deeply grateful to Jesus Christ and COME Ministries”

TESTIMONY-2 : A YOUNG ADDICT GETS CLEANSED!

I’m Ganesh from Karimedu Colony, Trivandrum. Growing up in a Christian family, I regularly attended VBS until 9th standard, when I fell in with the wrong crowd and developed destructive habits. Despite these issues, I passed my exams.

COME Ministries’ annual VBS took place, and though hesitant, I attended. The speaker’s message about Jesus’ love and the dangers of alcohol deeply impacted me. I felt a strong desire to change. Tearfully, I confessed my addictions to the speaker, who counseled and prayed for me, teaching me to read the Bible and pray.

This was a turning point. Slowly, I broke free from my addictions, ended harmful friendships, and found positive influences. It was a struggle, but with faith and prayer, I overcame these challenges and became a new person.

Now, I have peace and joy. The VBS strengthened my faith. I thank Jesus for my transformation and the COME Ministries missionaries for their guidance. I’ve decided to attend church regularly. Please pray for my education, my brother, and my parents.                                                                                                                                                                       – COME Missionaries.
